Position Objective:
Provide day-to-day customer service support and contribute to
business growth by managing customers.
This role also includes comprehensive sales support for internal and
external sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally handle customer interactions via email, phone, fax,
and online platforms, identifying needs and resolving inquiries at the
first point of contact.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Provide accurate product information, including material specifications and general application of products.
- Enter and manage sales orders using the company’s business system;
set up new customer accounts, update existing records, create pricing,
and coordinate sample requests.
- Maintain a detailed log of daily customer orders.
- Support outside sales teams with order entry and related functions.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve product knowledge, customer experience, and team cross-functionality.
- Generate and share reports on customer activity with management.

- Adhere to the organization’s code of conduct, policies, and internal guidelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience with order entry systems and working in a sales environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage variable workflow, multitask, and stay organized.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and making decisions aligned with company policy.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong relationship-building skills and customer focus.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to suggest and implement workflow improvements.
